- Description of Service:
The SMMC Sleep Lab evaluates sleep problems in children, ages 12 and up, and adults who are struggling with sleep disorders, including:- Sleep apnea
- Restless leg syndrome
- Narcolepsy
- Night sweats
- Insomnia
- Sleep paralysis
Pulmonologist Dr. Richard Kahn is the Sleep Lab's medical director. Both he and Dr. Chris Hughes are specialty trained and board certified. They, along with a staff of Registered Respiratory Therapists and Polysomnographic Technologists, offer a full spectrum of care from initial evaluation to sleep study review to diagnosis and long-term management.

The SMMC Sleep Lab is located at the Comfort Suites Hotel, 45 Barra Road, Biddeford. (Less than 1/2 mile from the hospital.)
