- Description of Service:
Med/Surg 4 is a 44 bed cardio-pulmonary, general medicine unit with the capability of telemetry monitoring 24 patients. The telemetry system has a central monitor system at the nurses station and on both wings of the unit. The system also pages each nurse when there is a cardiac rhythm issue, displaying the rhythm on the pager.
