RESPIRATORY THERAPIST - CARDIOPULMONARY
Working under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for administering or assisting medical staff with many of the following diagnostic procedures: Pulmonary (assists with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and pulmonary function tests including methacholine challenge and arterial blood gases.) Administers respiratory therapy treatments to outpatients as scheduled. Cardiology ( assists with Cardiac stress tests, holter monitors, event recorders and EKG's.
Qualifications: Graduation from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy and is certified or registered by the NBRC. Has a Maine license as a respiratory therapist. BLS certified. ACLS certification desirable. Previous experience in Pulmonary function testing, Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy, ABG's and Nebulizer treatments is preferred. Previous experience in cardiac stress test, holter monitoring, and ECG is desirable. CONTACTS:
